Henry Street Settlement is a nonprofit multi-faceted agency that provides innovative social services, arts and health care programs to New Yorkers of all ages.
OFH was retained by Henry Street Settlement to help select office furniture for its multiple locations throughout New York City. As an organization that serves more than 50,000 people each year, Henry Street Settlement’s mission was to create an office that helped effectively serve participants and run educational programs. OFH Account Executive Jody Eckert assisted the team in discovering solutions to help them succeed in doing what they do best: serving the diverse residents of Lower East Side of Manhattan.
Jody collaborated with Henry Street Settlement’s team to select office furniture that best fit their design requirements. She worked with the team to decide on color selections and also reviewed the space to ensure that the office design would effectively match their workflow. Divi workstations were customized to include spaces to meet with participants. Ergonomic furniture was chosen to keep team members comfortable, while providing an environment that was inviting and welcoming to visitors.
Founded on Manhattan’s Lower East Side in 1893 by social reformer Lillian Wald, Henry Street Settlement carries a rich history and is responsible for opening doors of opportunity and enriching the lives of countless individuals in New York City. OFH was enthusiastic for being able to help furnish a space for them that would help their team flourish and thrive.
